pistonheads one looks like a genuine wrx300 to me so it should have ppp if so and will be a fun car - check for ppp certificate and additional ppp bits ie blue hoses/exhaust

this also looks like it has prodrive wheels so if a highly specced wrx300 could also have the ppp optional suspension pack

out the two I would certainly investigate this one first

ALTHOUGH THERE ARE BADGES MISSING ON EXTERIOR

2nd one looks similar but has a wrx interior I think so might not be a wrx300 and hence might not have ppp

wrx300 brochure here - http://www.subaru-impreza.org/downlo...eza-wrx300.pdf

not sure why people want to make their cars look like wrx300s if theyre not as a wrx300 isn't that rare or exotic to start with tbh

Agreed, it's odd that the 1st has the seats and exhaust but no WRX300 badging and the 2nd is the opposite. No mention of service history or cambelt on the 2nd either.

yup fotos don't show the gearknob on the first either - of course bits can get changed ,, mine had every bit present when I got it but I really didn't like the yellow stickers on the fog covers so they came off the other day - tbh they were a bit stonechipped and I only took them off after I sourced new ones so it can go back to how it was if needed

main thing is service history

The best bit of a wrx300 is the ppp package ,,, if its all original and ppp its a fun car to drive and if unmodified and well serviced should be very reliable as well as fun ,,, the other wrx300 bits are just cosmetics tbh unless it has the ppp suspension add on as well

It should have a ppp certificate in the paperwork if it has ppp
