Default bag of spanners.

Alright people, when I've got my engine warm there is an awful sound that comes from the turbo area?it sounds like someone shaking a bag of spanners or shaking a couple of small ball bearings in open tin can.
Only does it if I blip the throttle and not on idle,so if I blip it it rattles as the Rpms drop.
Sounds to much to be heat shields.could turbo be on way out?
Cheers.might try and get video up.

What model and does it have a cat in the up pipe? As above check heat shields for play or a friend of mine had a very similar noise, it was the cat breaking down in the up pipe.

Does have cat in uppipe.I've got sti uppipe and decat downpipe ready to go on,but got worried about noise and didn't want to take it to get pipes fitted and remapped if turbo on way out or engine fubared.
It boosts fine and no smoke.
