Default Car cover

I'm looking to buy a full car cover to store one car in a garage over the Autumn/Winter period & then the other in the Spring/Summer period.

Prices tend to vary from as little as £8.99 to £100+ on Ebay & I am aware that you often get what you pay.

Any leads/advice would be much appreciated.

A friend of mine made a big mistake with his pride & joy in storing a car over the Autumn/Winter period under an outdoor carport, he removed the cover only to find a multitude of light scratching. Ouch!

If it is in a garage, I wouldn't bother with a cover unless it is a breathable one.

I bought a cover my stretched limo. It lives out in the open on my drive and as its not used daily it needed something. I got a good 3 layered cover which is breathable and water proof (well it don't leak anyway). So all good, but it does stretch and is now rather big for my 30 foot car
I bought it from Ebay!

So I should think you will defo need a breathable cover and as for little scratches, make sure you give it a bloody good polish before you stick in storage under cover

I think anything outdoor, be it under a car port or not has to be a tight fit.

The Ultimate Finish.com do some nice ones, they had a video up on the website for their cover for a classic, may have been a P1.

Great covers, but not such a great price!

That all depends on whether you know the paint code or not.
