Cabin Pollen Filter
Hi
Looking to replace my pollen filter and wonder if anyone can shed any light on the two options provided by Euro Car Parts with one being twice the cost of the other. Carbon impregnated maybe?

Crossland is now owned by teh ECP group and to be frank the quality of their parts...notably diesel fuel filter isn't anything like what they used to be. Mann have always been good quality.
Both say "standard" filter which implies they aren't charcoal, but it could be a listing error.

Think you got your users mixed up!
Anyway, a number of months on owing to a "slight" problem and I'm finally replacing my filter.
Whilst this is not the first time I've replaced it, I don't recall a largish steel box sitting directly in front of the A/C unit before.
Does anyone know what it is?

Maybe, but why place it there?
Also, nothing shows up on the exploded diagram showing the filter in the manual.
I have my paranoia hat on at present - I've recently had the car back after some insurance repairs and wonder if something has been added.....
The car is a Spec D ie a Hawkeye STi.

Pretty sure it's the Sigma alarm box - three security bolts on each of the two long sides with 6mm nuts on the side facing the rear of the car? It's not where it is on my blob but it looks the same part.
