Default WTF

Pulled up in my local Shell station today, and bloke in Shell clobber and I high vis comes up to me ...

"what fuel do you need?'

"V Power" I reply, apparently his job for the day is pumping the fuel for customers.

"Diesel?" He asks ...

(As title ...) WTF!!!

They have been in Swansea shell stations for a while but I wouldn't let them near my car to put petrol in.

I imagine it's corporate instructions.

Attendant doesn't confirm fuel type, puts in wrong fuel. Owner gets a big bill, and angry. Owner files complaint/ compensation claim. Owner posts on car forum "Attendant didn't check what fuel to put in my car- WTF?!?!?"

I don't know, the poor guy is providing a service that died out years ago and you slate the hell out of him. Not everyone that works at a service station has a keen interest in cars.

To be honest, it's nice to see this service again

Well done Shell!

Totally agree with Chris.

As an aside, I'd like to see one of the attendants stick exactly £20 in, it always goes to £20.01
