Thank you for your help regarding boost gauge.

Fitting was very easy and I was going to pay a mechanic £50 to fit in, glad I didn't.

1) Is this gauge suppose to make a sound when its operating, ie when boosting up?

2) When the engine is idling (Minus Readings), is the marker suppose to be steady or have a slight movement on it?
