Would this effect power if the gasket fails?also brought on ecu light.powertrain running lean! it reads.could understand it been the upipe loosing power.anyone else been here?

Could potentially be picked up on the rear o2 sensor as it's possible to draw in air into the gas stream causing the ecu to think its got too much oxygen in the gas stream. so adjusts as far as it can before it triggers the cel

I can understand that rob its the lack of power that confusing.

If the EML light is on then the ecu may well be pulling things back a bit to keep things as safe as possible.
I've had it before when an O2 sensor failed, the ecu just goes into a safe mode.
