Default WRX TMIC Upgrade

Hello all.

I have found an older thread about this very thing, but wanted a more recent opinion. Is a STI TMIC on a 2.5 WRX an easy straight swap?

I know the STI one is bigger, but are the fittings the same?

I will be getting a full exhaust system upgrade soon, but wanted to improve a few air flow issues so wanted to know what I could do before a remap.

Some say there is no point on a WRX till the 350bhp mark, but I just thought it would make a nice cheap(ish) upgrade in the mean time. I have an STI undertray so that isn't an issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Straight swap so long as the STI intercooler also comes with the flexi pipes required. If not they can be purchased.
