Default VF34 & PINKS

Hi

Its been a while since I was on the look out for mods but got a bit bored of the 280ish BHP after remap and a few mods I had a couple of years ago.
This yr its time to tidy her up a little and push for the 300bhp figure, in that vain im looking for a VF34 and some pink injectors to get that bit more out of her.
What I want to know is,
1. How much should I look to pay for each?
2. What type of power would it likely to make, 300 ish?
mods so far - sti intercooler, 3 port boost sol, sti up pipe, sti sports cat, decat second cat,ss exhaust.god speed brakes.

Probably looking around the 340bhp mark with those mods but I may be wrong, I had the vf34 on my old classic and I loved the noise it sounded awesome (I miss that lol) but they seem to be really popular and sought after now though but it's a good turbo and I loved it.

340bhp is probably around the max, there are a set of sti pinks for sale on here in the for sale section and you are probably looking around the £400 mark for a vf34 but I could be wrong as I bought mine new a few years ago from Scoobyclinic and not to sure of prices now but it's a good turbo with early spool and the noise is lovely.

Thanks for reply, just looked at those pinks, so plus another £400 approx for turbo plus remap and fitting looking bout £800. That's not so bad for an extra approx 60bhp.

Better start putting some money to one side

Hi

I don't have a build thread as such no, im sure I have a thread I've started that confirms the mods I've done though, just msg U with full list of mods. Looks totally standard though just as I like.

My VF34 made 346.9bhp with similar mods but with a full 2.5 decat. Paid £450 nearly 2 years now for mine.

It's torque that kills the boxes but Newage boxes are fairly strong. Mine was still running fine with 320 ft lbs. You can always get your mapper to hold back on the power when mapping in.
