New to Scooby ownership, and west midlands.
Hi,
Just thought i'd do this to introduce myself aswell as find out any good meets/ activities and parts around.
I recently moved to Evesham, Worcestershire to pursue my career in the form of working for the Honda BTCC team
I have also just bought a 1997 Impreza Catalunya edition, its a really good and honest car an i love it! Its not really fast comparing it to my previous car (Celica gt-four at 340hp) but its just really fun and always ready to go!
I dont want to do a massive amount to it other than pamper it lol, as its completely standard apart from an exhaust even down to the subaru stereo. However i do want to upgrade the brakes to the 4 and 2 pot wrx brakes, change steering wheel for momo and get a mid level spoiler on it, thoughts?
Also what is the west midlands like for subaru related things to do.....need to meet some people! lol.
Thanks,
Alex.

Hi Alex nice to meet you,try looking down the list of forums there is one for the Midlands and you should be able to find lots of meets/clubs.
The car looks real good and I like your plans for future mods, best to try and keep it looking original IMO.
But who gives a s**t about Subaru ,you work for Honda BTCC ,how can I become your best friend. When I was younger (still not that old yet) I got all my hgv licenses and tried like a crazy man to get a job driving for just about any race team just to get a bit closer to the action. You know some people are born with all the luck.
P.s I am sure some of the more knowledgeable members will help you with parts etc

Yeah it certainly is an exciting line of work to be in:-)
I want to stay close to standard with the scooby as i just sort of want to do it proud for what it is really.
just on the look out for a few little bits for it.
