If money was not a problem and you wanted a engine rebuilt and maybe forged internals with an aim to get some good bhp (380+bhp)for a blob/hawk,where would you go? It wouldn't matter what part of the country you lived and there was no time limits. Also you would be looking for a drive in drive out job.

There's plenty out there. Scoobyclinic, rcm, api, finch Motorsport and enginetuner to name a few. I opted for a 2.1 to be built by enginetuner after having a look around but that's just personal preference. Was a nice 700 mile round trip but well worth it imo. Make a few phone calls and talk to a few tuners see what you think and go from there

RCM are quality but there is alot of builders out there with quality builds that are less heard of as they don't frequent forums,RCM already had the heritage behind them and when you think quality subaru parts that are tried and tested you automatically think RCM.SJ.
