Fuel System Question
When the fuel system primes on the first latch of the ignition what is the duration the pump should run for before stop?
Is this controlled by a relay or pressure switch?
Car is 2002 Bug STi
If anyone can advise of the location/control of these would be appreciated.
Had starting issues and think this may be the problem as it seems to prime for not long enough, also the note of the pump changes from system pressure change?
Car had a 255 pump last year.

Hi,
Typically the FPC primes the pump for about 6 seconds and that is at 66% of max. voltage. Then it stops and will be ready to get a signal from ECU.
I am using an aftermarker FPC (fuelpro) from dccdpro and they do things a bit different but as I recall they follow the same pattern.
