Hello from Argentina
Hello all,
My name is Jose Balbiani and im a kinda subaru fan since like 6 years ago. My first Subaru was a 97 Outback 2.5, then a 2004 Outback 2.5 and now the family ride is Outback H6 2007.
Old Leggys are quite rare in argentina but back in june, while i was taking my car to service in main subaru dealer, i saw it... A Legacy turbo 93 with not well care maitenance but touched only at subaru dealer, not with the frequency required but there was some history.
Found the phone of the guy and just after 6 month the car is mine
I wasnt expecting that great ride. The car has good punch for having 220.000 km and theres minor things like the CHEQ ENGINE LIGHT That come and goes when im cruising.
I need to change severa exterior things like front bumper, few lights, a mirror etc.
Because of all that changes requires and because im a Colin Mcrae fan (like most of the world) and because im a race car driver (drove much in the British GT in 2009 2010), i was thinking to swap the car to a serie one legacy changing front and rear of the car as i can find the parts in chile. But now i decided to keep it as original and not even paint it by now.
Here a pic of last monday
And one of my H6 Outback #01 (and its twin from my friend Pablo) during the Sand day organized by Subaru Club Arg.

Course are urs... I wonder why dont Falklands attack Argentina and we all became Falklands as this country is crap..
My parents and my brother went there last year and its a place i really want to go... If i race 2 times in knockhill, Falklands is around the corner lol.
Im a race car driver (jose balbiani is my real name) and, because of that, i love England.

Hi Jose, we all think we are racing car drivers here but it seems you actually are
"Balbiani won the Ferrari Cup in FIA GT3 in 2008"
and you have driven some tasty machines:
2012 24h Nürburgring - SP10 GT4
HRT Team Argentina
Car: Aston Martin Vantage 4.7
Blancpain Endurance Series - GT3 Pro-Am Cup
Rhino's Leipert Motorsport
Car: Lamborghini Gallardo LP600
British GT Championship - GT3
Chad Racing
Car: Ferrari 430 GT3
Are you sticking with rally now or do you have anything else in the pipe line?

Dobbie, Thanks for your research.
I would really like to try rally someday. The closest ive been was in 2005 when i was hanging around like a tourist with my wife in Scotland where i attend a Rally Course in Knockhill (yes, i was 3 times there!! sorry, 4 times as one i went to test but there was snow to the knees) and i won the driver of the day award..
You might probably think im a millionaire that race Ferrari, Porsche, Aston, Lambo, Alpina, etc... Well, not.. Im a hard to quit guy that knocks every door looking for a chance. Never in my life had a brand new car and i always bought used ones (no regrets at all).
Its funny, but from all the cars i drove, the one that really like and have fun with was the Legend Series Car, really popular in UK and it was hell of a fun to race one of those in spain.
Really thanks for the welcome and probably ill be doing the 24 hr of Nurburgring again this year so if some attend, dont hesitate to come and have a coke (diet as im quite fat now lol)

The best guy to try is Alyn at ASPerformance.com - he's posts on here and on 22B.com etc as Stockcar.
He keeps a massive stock and knows his pads backwards- he'd be able to tell you instantly if those fit or not.
Good luck at the Ring and nice Legacy
