On the hunt for a V4 sti type r
As the title I'm looking for a v4 type r. Ideally i would like it to be standard or as close to as possible. Is 4-5k enough for one? It doesn't need to be mint but a nice example with no rot. So its kind of a wanted slash could i het one type topic

Ok thanks guys. This car is going to be a toy that I will run alongside my astra vxr that I use as my daily drive. But if I like it a lot I might sell the vxr and use the impreza as a daily driver. Would i be better off looking at a standard v4 sti such as this one?http://www.hurstcars.co.uk/used-cars...01402272100323
Finally what do you think the market is going to be like in the next year or two regarding prices of a standard v4 sti (house purchase deposit)

It's expensive in my eyes, but Hurst have a great reputation. It depends what you want it for really, it's pretty high mileage to start modifying it. If you're looking for a standard car around that price and want to leave it as it is then I'd say look at an RA instead.

I have already been offered a few quid more than I paid for it in February this year.
