Well I have now picked up the car but am in dock with bloody kidney stones again! The car as not had a bit of the personal touch yet but won't need much anyway.
The clocks are still in KM's, it's still restricted to 112 mph and running the OE engine/cat pipes etc. It rolled off the line in May 1997. The car had it's first MOT on the 23 July 2008 after it was imported from Japan. It was a Grade 4B (?) and came in via NIKKYO Ltd out of Yokohama to Newcastle.
I'll get some under bonnet pictures later.
Here's a few interior pictures to wet the appetite.

The rear fog is integrated into the rear OS light tail light.

I have changed the headlight bulbs to OSRAM Night Breakers. I did HID on my previous Classics and whilst they looked good they actually performed poorly in mist or fog. The RA's from MY 96 onward have better lights so take to good bulbs well.

Nope, even the orange indicators are back on the wings.
The colour coded door handles are coming off and the OE black ones are going on to match the mirrors. The only real upgrade will be Subaru four pots on the front (currently being stripped and refurbed), some OE LAMCO gauges (ready to go) and mini grit guards.

Nice choice Ian. Can't believe you're suffering from stones again! How you get over them soon.
Wouldn't mind a quick spin one day, once you're well. Tempted to get a classic as the next car, and the RA is on the list.

That's looks great Ian.... On a certain selection of car OEM with a little choice enhancement I feel is the way forward, I've got bulbs to go in mine at some point as what's in it are light candles
I agree with keeping the limiter in place plus km on the clock, I'm still in km on mine I think it makes the car.
Looking forward to having a dry meet when we can all get there together

Besides how often would you need to go up to or beyond 180KPH? As for the speedo it's really easy to work out MPH from KPH anyway.

Thanks for the offer there Ian, I've got new bulbs here but the cold wet weather has stopped my work but I'll get back on it as soon as I can. It's been so long I can't remember what they are lol
