Hi peeps

Ok sooo I currently have a blitz nur spec system fitted to my 99 type r, I recently had the car mapped with the bung in and was down by quite a lot of power so its been re mapped next week with the bung out.
However much I love the sound of the blitz without the bung I just feel in some situations your asking for a pull by the old bill so I'm just wondering if I was to change the system what my options are.

Another issue is that once the car is mapped with bung out if I was to put it back in I can only drive the car off boost ???

I really need a 3" system and I prefer the look of the angled back box and bigger tail pipe but not bigger that a blitz, sound wise maybe at the level of the blitz but with bung inplace which is still pretty loud but not as excessive as without...

Suggestions and thoughts would be apprechiated

HKS hiper is a good compromise but iirc the pipework is 2.75", though you may think the tail pipe is a little big

Hi banny .... Do u mean the hi power ?

I really am not sure what I should do I may just get it maped without baffle and keep the blitz I love it to bits but I need to be able to use the bung

I have a scorpian exhaust with the angle exit on my classic but with decat seems too loud have had a look at the hks silent seems a decent exhaust

But the roar on the blitz cant be beaten

What about the revolution 3" system. Fantastic system for the money! That's what I'll be going for. A lot of the sprint lads run them due to them not being overly loud and track friendly

I no this may sound a exspensive way of doing things but what about if I fitted a Simtec / Alcatek ecu and have switchable maps one for bung and one without .... ??? I'm seriously considering this ..

I have an angled japspeed catback for sale. 3" and comes with the bung too.
