Probably pick up a early blob twin scroll. im sure there was/is a Type 25 for sale on pistonheads for around that price range!!!

keep looking peter, theres a few popping up, for 8k you might find a widetrack jdm sti if you are lucky, certainly if not then an 03.
I got a mint 03 JDM STI a few weeks ago for 7k with 35k mileage, they do pop up, just have to be quick and be willing to travel

yes mate i put a link up for that one but think its at powerstation now with the turbo off it

Pffft, haven't a clue bud, I imagine theres some pitfalls you would need to be aware of amongst unexpected costs. No doubt someone on here has experience.

The main importer I see advertising is Torque GT in Devon, I think they generally import Hondas and Mitsi.
