Default 6 speed short shift

Hello
Soon to be converting my classic 99 Scooby to 6 speed and as I have a short shifter on my 5 speeder thought it would be a good idea to go short shift in the 6 speed. Searched but can only find 5 speed versions ? Even tried cdf but no joy. Do they make them ?
Cheers
Kris

we always supply/use the K4rtboy versions, very good quality & value for money IMO

we also do a bush conversion to tighten the std shifter up

Subaru STI catalogue offer one with 10% reduction in throw. I bought one a few years back and it was circa £380. There wasn't so many 6 speeds being broken up at the time and mine was damaged . I have it for sale if you are interested. Comes absolutely complete as a full linkage system from gearknob to gearbox.

I've got a 6speed in the shed with a B&M quick shift on, has anyone else used this quick shift?

Pretty poor from what I've heard Joe, makes the 2nd to 3rd shift even more difficult

Yeah I wasn't too sure what to think of it to be honest banny, I'll think I'll give it a swerve and opt for a standard linkage,

Are these good upgrades?

Is it just as simple as knock it up to change up and down to change down or am I barking up the wrong tree here??

They reduce the throw of the gear lever and reduce side to side movement.
