and finished off with a remap with andy forrest which he said it will be between 345 - 350 BHP I would of got more but the RCM induction kit restricted it a little bit but I am very happy with the BHP I got with the remap.

If any of you are from this part of scotland RA Motorsports is a excellent place to get work done on your subaru

Holy ****, I think I just leaked a little from my shaft!

How much roughly did that set you back? If you don't mind me asking!

Very nice engine bay.
Did Andy specifically say why the RCM air filter was holding things back? I am running a similar set up with over 400bhp.

It's all about volume Maz
Whilst the RCM cone looks the part it's internal volume isn't that great

Surely a cone filter of that size should suffice for circa 400bhp. It seems quite large.

Yes , it will cope your right , but induction needs everything working with it to produce

Simple terms - suck squeeze bang blow

Anyway , if Harvey were here R.I.P.
He'd give you a full page right up on how the RCM lacks the punch of larger , & cylinder filters , I have tried them all ...
If your happy with your figures & your car works well
Leave it on I say . They certainly look cool

I think To get the 400 and above on a newage sti a bigger turbo injectors and fuel rails are needed
Plus things like ss headers, decat, ss exhaust, fuel pressure regulator, FMIC
dont know how much bhp would be achieved with all these mods plus the rcm induction kit tho but i will be finding out though

What induction kit would you recomend for getting 450 bhp and not a rotated set up as i dont want that
as thats what i will be aiming for once the stroker and bigger turbo goes on

Andy tends to use the foam type ram air filters on his own cars.

Goin big maf the Perrin short ram big maf & filter works very well
Ideally using 800cc injectors as they are designed in conjunction to allow easy scaling to get the AFR spot on
