hi everyone i just brought my subaru impreza 1999 turbo 2000, drives really nice the only thing is it has a 100% atmospheric dump valve and i've seen a few comments that this sort of dump valve can damage the engine in the long run but others say they don't damage the engine or anything so if someone can help me out and explain if this 100% atmospheric BOV will damage or make the car run badly overtime

I drive mine with athmospheric BOV since long time. I've made around 100.000 kms with no issue.
I own a classic 2000 with stock engine

 

ok cheers mate i was hoping it would be ok with this dump valve its sound really good and very loud i was looking up which one it is and its a forge BOV which judging by the price is a good make of BOV lol
