Default Thunderbird 2

Hi All,just a few bits of info to start.I purchased TB2 in 2009, she was a one owner car
COMPLETELY ORIGINAL down to the exhaust system, 40,000 miles, rebuilt bottom end at 23000
miles by Xtreme Scoobies, FSH,& came with a spare set of Gold 17 inch speedlines:

First step was a cambelt/tensioner change at API,then the modding began API are very good & David is a true gent (can I have that £50 now David ?) However API are rather a long way from me so........

All further work carried out by Zak at Mocom Racing unless stated otherwise. He is a top fella and very reasonable price wise and always good for honest, no-nonsense advice (Probably a bit TOO honest for a businessman but I didn't say that ) Shameful plug over !

1) Oil cooler fitted BEHIND rad for quick winter warm up.I always intended the car to be a fast road car primarily but with trackday/dragstrip potential & of course it needed to cope with the Ring (I blew up my STI 5 Type R at the Ring in 2006, was advised afterwards that an oil cooler would be a good idea on a classic)

2) Then add a STI v8 TMIC:

plus various bits like braided brake lines, B7 grade NGK plugs, and gearbox/diff oil replacement.

3) Then add gauges (Boost, Oil temp,Oil pressure) ,cockpit wiring done by myself, Zak got the wires into the dash area.By some miracle the gauges are still working oh & a knocklink was added too for good measure.
