Default wrx sti wagon

Today me and Houlty have been and collected another Subaru this one (unfortunatley) is just a bottom end rebuild and re-sell i love the colour and has been very well looked after. We hope to do more of these but this is our first and if we can make a little bit of cash out of it then we will be doing many more to come. So if your on the lookout for a really nice STI wagon bear in mind that when this is finished over the next month or so it will be up for sale so if you like what you see it could be yours lol.
Anyway the plans for the car are as follows:
Repair small rust patch on the rear arch
bottom end rebuild with the following:
ACL race bearing big and little
New gasket rebuild kit
new uprated oil pump
Still contemplating doing the top but we shall see on that
it has new age STI seats in red but the back are grey so the back will be changed to the red seats we have spare from another car. But as we all know this is a subaru so i m sure there will be some nice surprises along the way.

here s the rust patch that s being sorted this is the only bad part on the body work

so today we decided to get the car off the trailer and the engine out


up she comes



now on the table ready for stripping down

inlet off and ready for sand blasting and painting


new oil pump as described in the advert

new VF30 turbo not described in the advert but very nice suprise

all stripped down



one very nice and clean engine


and finally a HID kit

good and bad news on the project
Bad news:
Split the engine and found that the crank is shot so having to order a new one of those
Good news:
Car got wheeled round to the body shop last night to have the repair done on the rear arch pics to follow when complete

few updates all our bits from advanced automotive arrived today so a big thanks to them:


Also the body shop has now started and it should be finished for tomorrow morning:

Will upload more pics of bodywork when complete

Body works all complete now very very happy when the engine goes bk in and its all MOT she will be going bk round to the body shop to get mopped all over and polished so it ll be gleaming

engine is starting to get bolted bk together now really chuffed with the progress fingers crossed we may have it running by saturday





parts starting to be bolted bk on


All painted ready to be re built tomorrow
