Default My dream P1 project

So then, I've always been a big fan of the P1, not sure what it is about them but I've always dreamed of having one someday and now I'm one step closer to that coming true.
I've been considering for a while now trying to find a shell in really good condition and then rebuilding it as a project and i now have a deposit down on one

Now i already have a 98 WRX which is my summer weekend car and will be keeping that to use again next summer (if we actually have a summer that is), the aim is to have the P1 completed for summer 2014 so it's quite long term.
The reasons for it being a long term project are A I'll be 25 by 2014 so cheaper insurance, B, if I'm going to do this i best do it right and make a good job of it so i don't want to rush, and C, i don't want to pay over the odds for parts etc, hoping to pick up some bargains along the way if i can unfortunately i don't have a massive bank balance

The shell I'm buying is missing engine gearbox and rear diff, front seats, brakes, wheels and ecu.

All of those parts I'll be needing over the next 18 months so hopefully some people will be able to help me out on here

as soon as I've got the shell home I'll get some pics up but it might be while before i have it home, and then the fun begins and I'm sure I'll be asking for loads of advice on here and will welcome any opinions

Thanks for reading, Steve

I don't really have it all worked out yet but I want it to look totally standard and original from the outside other than probably a FMIC.

Still haven't got the shell yet, it's a long story as to why i haven't so i won't go into that but it's not a problem tbh

I've been offered some more parts, it was a WR spec??? apparently, not sure exactly the difference in spec that made but i know it had recaro seats in it.
I've been offered some other parts and was wondering if anyone could help me out and give me an idea of the value of these parts so i know if im getting a good deal or not?

Alcon front brake calipers with nearly new godspeed bells and rotors and ds2500 pads

2 pot rears with nearly new standard discs and pads and brackets

standard p1 exhaust with p1 embosed rear silencer

18" P1-WRC alloys with good tyres

Any ideas on what these parts should go for would really help me out

Thanks
