Default Subaru impreza wrx (blobeye)

Quick intro,

In no order, that's a few of my old cars, I then bought...

This...

Dropped the oil, fitted a boost gauge and dump valve and drove it.

Wasn't really happy with it, so swapped the panel filter for an induction kit, bought a turbo timer, short shifter, uprated fuel pump and decat pipe.

Got round to fitting a few bits and it's feeling better, but it still has a way to go before I'm happy.

Also took the wiper off, bought. Much smaller momo wheel as well as a few small touches, like import plates.

Needs lowered badly, but coil overs don't seem cheap! Lol.

Should be keeping this updated fairly regularly while I set about getting it how I want it.

Thoughts?

Got the short shifter fitted, wasn't a walk in the park, but with some washers and some swearing, it went on.

Really starting to feel the changes now, but can feel its gunna need a remap soon.

fitted my turbo timer and radio from the mazda as the standard one made me want to die. although i liked the OEM look, the fact i couldnt listed to mp3 was the worth thing to ever happen.

OH and the skip track was a **** on the left and the volume was a **** on the right... think about it... THATS WRONG?!

turbo timer i had fitted up next to the boost gauge, but whilst sat in the car, i had another idea, which to a small degree, i have implimented...

WIRES?!

with the flash turned on up close it looks poo, in the car, sat back, it looks fine.

i will ovcourse sort it out, but for a 5 minute job, suits me for now...

Ive just had a clifford remote start system fitted to mine with a turbo timer feature, if you'd have gone for a slightly slimmer timer you could have put it in the plastic trim next to the cup holder. is it an automatic timer, as in it works out how long to keep it running for. the harder youve driven the longer it stays on. or is it just a set time??

erm, yes and no. technically, no. just a few screws and heat the glue up. but the glue is a ******* and took about half an hour to do... which is a long time for someone with the attention span of a fly.

took standard units out and decided it was easiest to make an mdf template and fit that to the new speakers.

2 minutes with a saw and they were done, screwed them on, sorted the wiring.

gluegunned it all together

realised there was a seperate tweeter unit AFTER i had been to halfords, so that can wait for another day...
