Last weekends painting...
Well, the old classic started to get some bubbling on one rear arch (as they all do), so decided to tackle it myself before paying a pro. I thought that if I fluffed it and needed a pro job I'd only be out of pocket for the paint as I already had everything else.
Started by gently rubbing over the affected area to see what I was dealing with.

Didn't look too bad to be honest but got the grinder out and investigated further.

Ground back all the rust and treated with a good quality rust killer. It wasn't bad at all once I got down to it, was mostly just surface rust.

A touch of filler, a good sand and some primer.

Then came the paint. 230 feather white in a rattle can. The match was almost perfect.

Re-mask up and then the clear coat.

Finished project.

Was quite pleased with the results to be honest. Not as good as a pro but not bad for a first timer. Sprayed a few bits before but nothing on this scale.
Will do for now anyway.
