Smile ITS OFFICIAL!!!!

Its official, Ive finally decide to make the leap,
After having no luck with my previous impreza wrx and having nothing but trouble i thought id play it safe and buy a really nice sport with bags of history and not a mark on it, and thought that id be happy with just rolling around without alot of power.......oh how wrong i was!!!!
BORING or what!!!!

Well after careful deliberation i though id go for a full turbo conversion, engine, box, the whole kit and caboodle, however talking through my options and what my eventual plan was with Keith over at Scooby Projects it wouldn't have been viable, so decided to do it properly and go for a semi closed block, forged engine built from scratch...!!

Yes i know there are you out there who will say why??
Well the car i bought was immaculate, and Ive spent alot of time and money getting it to where it is now and as most scooby drivers will agree we form a bond with our cars, as have I and also Ive always wanted a real project car....

So thanks to the guys at SCOOBY PROJECTS, works is on the cards to start in around 7 weeks, with the end result looking at anywhere from 350bhp upwards, once run in ill be back there for a good fmic, bigger turbo and remap, (more bhp too i hope) ill be having all the running gear, gear box, diff, loom, clocks.....the whole lot changed, im really excited and just wanted to share my excitement with everyone.
here are a couple of pics of how my car is at the minute, the wheels are now different with white standard 16" impreza ones on, and its been lowered on ebach springs and sti shocks, also the brakes have all be uprated to wrx ones with drilled and grooved discs and red stuff pads all round...will keep everyone updated with pics of progress once work is under way.

wheels now fitted with D1 blue nuts

4 pots are really the very least you should run, even with a boggo standard car which yours isnt going to be.
Looks like a big project though, good luck! Promise me one thing, the original alloys you have, take a grinder to them so no-one else could ever fit them. Please.
