Default proect pics :-)

hi all, here are some pics of my 02 wrx project .

wheels are kei racing 19" they used to be black chrome , but painted them satin black . i then kurbed them to death !! so filled out the damage with some liquid metal and painted them again " for the last time "

the old center caps were also chrome and a bit shabby , so i painted them to match , cleaned up the grub skrews and had sum carbon effect centers made

a light smoke would look great, not too ott. There are some nice individual touches on the car mate, they'll all come together once she's done to make a great car.

out of interest what chassis modifications are you running? possible big brake conversion in the future?

thanks mate
it definatly needs big brakes doesnt it ? im planning on hopefully getting a forged engine soon ? so the plan is to wait for the wrx gearbox to give up ! then sign him off the road again so i can save for the followig
sti 6spd
suitable clutch
big brakes
more capable turbo
front mount
cooling mods
fueling mods
to reliably run over 400 bhp

i am also definatly going to strip it down to bare bones to save as much weight as possible .

i know i get bored quick ! so the 350bhp my vf34 can handle will soon leave me un-satisfied !!

Ha ha I know the feeling, its like a disease, one modification leads to another

If you are going to strip it some light smoke tints would definitely be the best option, show off the stripped interior. I've stripped my classic, just got a drivers seat now! You do get some strange looks in traffic though!!

plans for a 400bhp build and supporting mods sound good mate, A big brake conversion and a set of rota grid drifts would really set it apart, bugs really do look the part with concave grids! keep us updated anyway mate
