Default GRB STi forged internal rebuild...Update w/ new parts

Thought i'd start a thread of my build....

Unfortunately late July early August i was one of the victims of the notorious 2008-2010 ringland failures.....so i cracked #4 ringland and spun #3.....

I spun #3 bad enough for it to slightly weld itself to the crank, which destroyed my crank.....

i'll post some more pics of the parts as they come in.....but here are some of the pics after removing the motor in the garage......

Pics taken couple of weeks before the rod knock.....

Before......

this is after......(sorry for the crappy camera phone pics)

some vinyl i threw on as she sits motorless....(WARNING:maybe not be to everyones taste) lol

thanks guys for the comments.....the car is a US Spec, left hand drive car......

as for internals that should be in by the beginning of this week:
CP Pistons 99.5mm stock compression
Carrillo Pro A Rods
ACL Main and Rod bearings
2010 STi Nitrite treated crank
Full Subaru Gasket Kit
ARP 11mm Headstuds

Some extra added to the list:
Killer B Motorsport Oil Baffle
ACT 6 Puck Clutch
Mishimoto Oil Cooler
and a couple of other stuff coming in, i'll take some pics once the parts start coming in......

I'll be posting some of the pics shortly with new and some parts I've previously had installed......

Here are some pics of the damage......

#3 rod bearing....

#4 Piston.....the ringland had a hairline crack when it was taken out, so luckily it didnt break apart to scar up the cylinder walls.....but with a bit of pressure from a screw driver the ringland fell apart......

the destroyed crank.....

here is where the bearing spun.....

and here are some of the parts that have came in last week.....
Nitrite treated crank

Bearings and Oil Baffle

Full Subaru Gasket

Previously installed parts......
Titek Stainless UEL headers wrapped w/ DEI header wrap

Invidia Catless Downpipe tapped for Innovate wideband

AEM CAI Intake

and the empty engine bay, i did do a little cleaning and little bit of a wire tuck to get it ready before the engine goes back in......

interior.....

and some new rubber 255/35/18 w/ 0miles......

so by next week the pistons and rods will be coming in so im able to take to the machinist......and w/ fingers crossed the motor should be back in 2 week......thanks for reading guys.....

Great day today, pistons, rods and couple other items came in one big package

Now ready to take the bare block and pistons to get honed to fit.....one step closer for the car to be back on the road.....

CP Pistons 99.5 stock compression

Carrillo Pro A Rods

11mm ARP Headstuds

And on top of that while the motor is out i decided to purchase clutch so i dont have a problem later down the line.....

ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and a Sprung 6 puck clutch

so having a HKS SSQV laying around i purchased a HKS recirc kit.....AMS SS clutch line.....and Project Kics R40 Neo Chrome lugs.....

Grimspeed multi-layer exhaust gaskets

here's a pic showing how thick the gaskets are....

and Grimspeed EBCS

so this week i'll be dropping off the block to get honed for the piston, and hopefully get it back by next week......thanks for looking
