Default Steering pulleys

Hello, I was just wondering can you paint the pulleys that you can see at the front of the engine! The ones that hold the steering and AC belts?

I know you can buy them but I cant afford to buy them now and just thought of tidying up! Would I need a certain paint? Do they get hot

Anyone that may have done it, photo's would be great!

Thanks Claire

When i had mine off to do the cambelt recently, i sanded mine down and sprayed them with smooth black hammrite before re-fitting them. Look as good as new now.
