Default 18 year olds dream project

Hi all,
ive disided to make a project thread because i could do with all the help i can get. im a 18 year old youth and started out wanting to build a kit car but when the opertunity came up to buy a scooby i just couldnt resist, its a 94 wrx import, its a little tatty but i hav bought it as a project car and i am planning to take it to a hillclimb event next year about april/may sort of time. ive started stripping the interior and doing little bit to the engine bay and bodywork but its gearing up to the big spend.

heres is a couple of pics of the car and the work ive done so far.

engine bay before

bit of cleaning and acouple of new parts

how the engine bay looks so far

also ive just got these just waiting till pay day to order the bits to go with them

bodywork

now before anyone has a go because i bought angel eye headlights its because the car had a broken side light and i wanted to change them for black crystal lights but found these cheap and as im on a buget they will do

i appologise for the bad pics, i only hav a camera phone

I hope you get the car to a nice state for the hill climbs. Jap wrx is a nice base car for a beginner. Get the suspension sorted before anything else

Good project you've got there.

If you havn't done much of this kind of thing, you're definetly diving in at the deepend with a Subaru!

Good experience though Keep this updated, as I'm interested to see how far you take it.

Interesting project fella.

What sort of mods were already on the car when you started (decat/exhaust)?

I'm liking your fuel setup, I'm doing similar myself.

What is planned for the big spend?
