Burned Legacy rebuild?

Default Burned Legacy rebuild?

Hi!

Does anybody know, if itīs possible to repair this car without changing parts from the chassis? I have a crashed Legacy and I want to rebuild the burned car. The paint from the hood ist 10x5cm burned and under the car ist no mark from the fire. The Aluminium from the engine did not melt. Iīm only a litte bit afraid to fix it and drive on the road, because I donīt know if the coilīs tops and the firewall to the passenger room got too much temperature to be safe for an accident or to hold out the power of driving. Some of my friends say so and some say so. I hope some of you have got the experience or knowledge to tell me if I can fix it without input from new chassis-parts. It dosnt look to bad under there at all a lot still intact so there will be no worries as far as terminal damage to bulkhead etc.

yeah should be ok,Look an emb's widearched project that was fire damaged a lot worse than yours.

Thanks a lot guys.

The fire began from the Katalysator. In this area is the coulor burned. You donīt have frightness because of the durability from the metall in future? I think I begin to fix it in the comming week! I will update this thread with pictureīs from the rebuild.

Looking at the 'relative' lack of damage to the wiring in the area of the bulkhead I'd say it would be fine


I'm just guessing here, but English isn't your first language is it

:-) Iīm from Germany and in school you donīt learn that kind of "special" words.

So itīs not easy for me to write a text about a car that burned.
