Default Old Impreza Learning New Tricks

I have a 1993 Subaru Impreza L with the 1.8l and its FWD. The engine has 250,000 miles on it. I also have a totaled 2004 Subaru Outback Sport with a 2.5 N/A motor and only has 30,000 miles on it. My goal is to remove the 2.5, transmission, and rear end and put them into the 1993, thus making the 1993 a 2.5L AWD. I realize that emissions control and electrical are going to be soem problems but are there any other major issuse that i might run into with getting the engine in? This is my first Subaru project so im still learning about the car and company.

Both Vehicles are Manual, FYI.

Thanks for any information you may have!
