Steve:

What have you in mind?

Do you want to keep it civilised?
Can you say the roads are good quality in your part of the world, as if they are rough then the mods need to allow for that!

I think that is what David is getting at: What do you really want from the mods? Do you want to keep the re-sale value or are you prepared to loose a lot of money by extensive mods??

Suggesting mild mods for a good road car is easy, there is a 'package' that will transform the stock car to a nice road runner, then things can get a lot more extreme/expensive/compromising and the car can actually be slower on poor roads than the stock car! (but on a track.....)

Hope this helps a bit!
Graham.

Thanks for responses, good and Wallis.

John - olen itse Englantilainen, mutta asu Suomessa. Mista sä opit Suomen kieli ....... vaimosta / tyttöystävästä....

But with regards to the motor, the roads here are generally in good condition, but then we do get a lot of snow and slush in the winter time, so lowering the car isn't too practical. Thinking more along the lines of subtle and affordable mods. uppin the wheels to 18's, window tints, replacement panel filter.
What was the 'package' that was mentioned. Of course the wife has to approve so there won't be any wild wide arch kits and flame exhausts with a 500bhp engine.
If i posted in the wrong directory, apologies and feel free to move to where it should be.

Cheers
Steve

Only you can move it!

Nice road package (IMHO)

17'' rims with good tyres
Whiteline rear roll bar
Anti lift kit in the front
Camber bolts in each corner of the car
A very good alignment (pity you are not in England as there are 2 maybe 3 'good' places in my opinion.

This will make for a wife-friendly chassis.

Graham.
