Cool 350 lb ft broad powerband Blobeye daily driver

Suggestions please, preferably based on 03/05 UK ? Euro STi ( I imagine loosing the burble makes it a bit souless?)

I cannot justify spending thousands on what is a fairly modest upgrade on approved PPP - did I read recently that Bob Rawle had developed such a low budget beastie - if so - what is base vehicle and approx cost of conversion?

Obviously the power isnt finite and desired level would have to adopt itself to a sensible budget

Having driven STi PPP 04 map, flat thro' gears (first 4 only), I imagine an extra 20% of accessable torque would be plenty!

Suggestions, links and contacts please

I appreciate a JDM is not far off from std and can easily achieve this, however concerned on loss of character and lack of convenience in servicing - Rog Clark Mosport reasonably local so dare say he could maintain it - however issues like air con failure are clearly better taclked by Dealer.

So, prefer Euro base if practical.

I think but dont quote me, that 05 cars have AVCS on inlet and exhaust cams, may only be limited to JDM version though. Other changes were the turbo, headers set-up. 03 Euro car like I had is VF35 Turbo and normal headers. At some point they changed to twinscroll headers and twin scroll turbo, again may only be JDM models.

Alot depends on whether you want to keep the warrenty?

toying with getting good deal on Euro car and going it alone with sensible tuning - in theory warranty on non transmission related items at least should still be ok?!

The Euro / Uk cars are all the same spec (well nearly) between 03 - 05, exception being mininal ie different sensors update to better spec, different engine loom from 03 to 04 as it was suspect to flashing the CEL light

The items you have listed above were only done on the jap cars
