Default Carbonfibre Showcar Project

Hi Guys

I thought I'd start a topic charting the progress of my little Impreza project. Basically I want to transform my rather boring looking import into an extreme show car.

flamesuit at the ready as im sure people wont like everythign ive done

Here it is when I first got it last year

I had it resprayed at Type K styling (www.typekstyling.co.uk) with a pearl in the paint

Then a few weeks later when I started to facelift it

Here are some pics when I first bought a Carbon bonnet for it. I got this from Endless Racing (www.endlessracingdesigns.co.uk) so it came ready to fit with a carbon scoop and vents

I actually thought of the s202 one. I have a carbon 22b one on order but im tempted by the other.

Want some carbon cup mirrors too, but im bugged by the non electric bit. Might buy carbon ganandor ones, I know they are leccy.

Got to decide on a new colour too! Its going back to the bodyshop to have handles removed, some arches fitted and a respray. Thinking either WRC blue with carbon front arches partially painted to blend in, or something US stylee like gold

Wheel wise I reckon im gonna do 19s. Was going to do 20 or bigger initially but im planning 400bhp + so think id be asking for trouble with anything over 19

btw here is what the kit will look like fitted, except carbon of course

With the help of my mate Ben I fitted the bootlid today. Looks wicked! need to get some pics in the Sun so the weave shows up properly

Need Sti lights now so going to get them from Endless Racing who I believe are the cheapest

RSVR racer do you have pics of your wheels?

Gav have you seen some of the Australian scoobies. You'd like them

im not sure if airbrushing is to my taste. I was thinking of having it blend from carbon into WR blue or something. Don't know what would look good. The bodyshop reckoned gold or something Californian style
