Maybe you can help me here. Recently my 2008 Subaru legacy 2.0TD engine (EE20 E4) bit the dust (knocking from the engine so I assume or was told it was probably the bigend / bearing gone) and I was considering replacing it with a newer EE20 E5 engine. Is this possible? The engine would be from a 2011 forester.



I read somewhere that you need to keep the turbo, glow plugs and injectors from the E4 in order to not change over the ECU. Is this right?
