Default Engine swap

Hi all, I've got a 1.6 Impreza wagon and I want to put a 2 litre turbo engine into it for obvious reasons but my question is how hard would it actually be to do it? I mean with the wiring loom and all, thanks in advance

Huge job, way way cheaper to sell it and buy one, need full loom engine box brakes suspension, dash ecu ect ect and your insurance will be higher as its then classed as a modded car, really not worth the effort and money.

you wouldn't even insure me for the 1.6 as it is, never mind with an engine swap

Flogging whats commonly known as a dead horse mate. the difference are alot more than just the engine.

Save yer pennies and buy a turbo'd model.

not exactly but they said it had something to do with age and location, it was a shame really because many people have recommended you as the best insurer and I would have loved to have been insured by you but there was no way on earth I was paying over £10k for insurance when my final premium was £1.5k
