Forged wrx max safe hp limit?
Hi I sold my 98 gl and bought 02 wrx the car is fine except the engine mount which is not big pro. Ok now I have a parts list to make this car in its best performance but I need to know how many whp should I look for with these parts.
New crank shaft.
Acl main n rod bearing.
Manley h rod.
Wiseco forged piston.
Arp head stud.
Oem head gasket or cometic.
Oem new valves.
Dual spring valve.
Regrind or stock camshaft.
600cc injector
Walbro fuel pump.
Aero motive frp.
Greddy emu.
Borg Warner s200 or td05 20g.
Legacy twin turbo gearbox.
Act 500lb clutch.
I may forgot some other parts.
Now based on this mods how many hp should I look for for a weekly drive car?
Thanks

I'd say it depends what sort of power the gearbox is capable of handling and how much fuel your injectors can flow. Personally I prefer a car that picks up and goes from low down in the rev range, as opposed to wait, wait boom. Headline figures mean nothing, drivability is king on the road.
Turbo choice is the key factor, I'd go with a smaller billet turbo like an SC36 and leave a reasonable safety margin for all my components, as well as some head room on the injectors, no point in having big numbers if you're afraid to use it in case something breaks.
