V2 STI 555 refresh project
Hiya Guys,
Okay, so i have a V2 STI 555 which i've owned for 5 years since it being imported, over the next 2 months will be stripped back to a certain level and repaired with a full respray.
The picture below was of the car only afew months ago in the welsh mountains, looking ever so crisp and clean.

About 5 weeks ago, a nice guy in a army landrover decided he didnt like subaru's and so done this below

Now i've decided to get the car repaired as it will be a car for life.
Its gone in the bodyshop today for some work which is listed below :
Replacement doors fitted to passenger side
Rear arch's removed and new one's fitted
Rear bumper removed and fixed
Rear subframe to be dropped and sprayed black
Trailing arms to be rubbed back and sprayed black
Torsion bars rubbed back and sprayed pink
Calipers removed and resprayed on rear, front calipers to be replaced with new
All 4 wheels refurbed and resprayed in white
Any other dings with little rust spots will be repaired and treated
Finally once all this has been completed, it will have a full repsray to the original colour 53c.
Further work to the inside and engine bay will be done once i have the car back but basically the engine is standard and will stay that way but afew new parts here and there to keep it running for another 20yrs.
Once all this has been done, i'll need to sell a kidney or 2 :-)

Well after afew more days of hard graft by my painter, he's treated the patchy areas today with some acid etch primer and then 3 high coat primer ready for the next stage.
forgive me if they are in order, takes to long
