New to the forum but here's the story.

Bought a subaru gx in April 2014 as was looking for a car at the time being 21 I was looking at a golf Gti or a Gttdi but was convinced by my friend to buy an impreza. Now at 21 the insurance still don't like you and want to rip you off so as I couldn't afford 3k a year on a wrx I looked into buying a gx and doing a conversion so I found one on the Internet and that's where it all started.

get some pics of her up mate. personaly i think a 1.8t or 150hp tdi golf would have been the better choice. there both dirt cheap on insurance and conciderably faster

Yeah I agree with you on that but previously I had owned a gti and a tdi golf which had mountains of problems so when I sold them wasn't to keen on returning to a mk4 had a good look at mk5's but as a student was a bit out of my budget at the time.

I am really new to having to create a thread so would really like it if you could explain how I can post pictures on here. Usually I am always logged on using my iPhone.

Thanks Dan that's really kind of you, but on that note I was looking into maybe buying a proper uk spec wrx blobeye so 03-05 shape. I was wondering what the insurance price on that would be with 1 yrs ncb many thanks sib.

So you are converting a GX into a Turbo and Insuring it as a GX or have i misunderstood?
