yeah bang on jason ive got a few of these in the garage the w6 is the early wrx 92/94 240bhp ecu and the z5 gives slightly higher boost and gives out a claimed 260bhp stock but with the chip fitted should be nearer 285bhp, the chip gives the car 1.13 bar boost raises fuel cut to 1.3 and removes the 112 limit and the car will need to run on 97ron or higher fuel with this fitted(should be anyway) it is mapped for full decat and upgraded air filter too although will run without it but anyone whos decatted and suffering overboost this is a good cure and will make the most of the decat as for the prices they seem reasonable to me bud

Good info re the ECU types and also the Z5 is from a 96 WRX RA, but not sure how you can quote what the chip does and what it was mapped for, without reading out it's contents or trying it.
It could have anything in it....and I have seen a few strange ones. Lack of label identification for batch traceability over the erase window, and to protect against UV would indicate to me that not much care was taken w.r.t it's preparation.
