343BHP 53 Plate STI - May take p/x + cash
Due to the impending arrival of a company car and a wedding to pay for, I can't justify keeping the Scoob (apparently!).
STi Type UK:
FSSH
All old MOT's present
Lots of paperwork
Manuals & handbooks in the owners wallet
9 months MOT & 7 months TAX
Unmarked interior
All usual STi equipment, privacy glass plus very sensible mods
Always warmed up and cooled down, only run on either Shell V Power or Tesco 99 RON fuel
84k
Engine Mods:
Firestorm Equal Length Headers
Firestorm Decat Up Pipe
Firestorm Decat Down Pipe
Firestorm Decat Centre Pipe
WR Sport Backbox - very nice sound, not too loud either!
Simota Panel Filter
Warlboro 255 Fuel Pump
Bailey Motorsport Blow-Off Valve
EcuTek (mapped for 99 RON fuel) remap by Jolly Green Monster (June 2009)
Brakes / Suspension / Tyres:
Brembo 4 pot brakes.
Recent new Brembo drilled front discs and grooved rear discs with EBC Yellow Stuff Ceramic brake pads
Tein Progressive Lowing Springs
Bridgestone RE070's (fantastic tyres) with loads of tread.
This is the 3rd Impreza I have owned, and I bought this car off a member of Lancashire & District Subaru Owners Club, so you can tell its been well looked after. When it was MOT'd in September, it only needed a side light bulb replacing!
Theres no smoke etc on start up or under load whatsoever, never missed a beat, this is a great car for the money, dont let the mileage put you off, the engine is solid and tight!
As soon as I get a reasonable day, I'll take some photos of the interior.
As mentioned, the it's in great condition, totally standard, no rips or tears and importantly, NOT SMOKED IN.
I'm not particularly looking for a PX, although may consider something cheaper (around the £2-3K mark) that could be a good base for a trackday toy or a cheap road legal trackday car plus cash my way.

I've actually had it since August, and if you'd like any info on the car that hasnt been included in the advert, please feel free to ask. Believe me, I grilled the previous owner to the hilt, so there is nothing he'd be able to tell you that I dont know.
Before I bought it, I spoke to JGM about the car to make sure in his opinion it was right, as he had only mapped it in June... and I bought the car
And seeing as you havent even asked me about the car, I find it strange you'd rather speak to the previous owner...
Incidentally, I have no problem in doing that if I feel there is genuine interest, and we're a bit further down the road with it. I'm 100% certain the previous owner wont mind either. If you're worried about the fact I havent had it very long, so there must be something wrong with it, I can assure you that genuinely isnt the case and couldnt be further from the truth. I'd love to keep it but I've got a company car coming and a wedding in Italy and a 3 week honeymoon to the Maldives next year which need paying for, so I cant justify having an £8k motor sat on the drive getting used may be once or twice a month.

Anything that will be a good base for a trackday car. I'd certainly consider a cheap classic - that doesnt mean the same as "shed thats got a Dawes device cranked right up and run on 95 RON fuel all its life"
So, I'm thinking classic scoob, VR6, MKII Golf GTi etc etc

I'll be back shortly... Once the new job's bonuses start kicking in, I'll hopefully be able to convince the misses we can afford it... specially now I've sold my scoob to pay for the wedding (well, a down payment on it ffs!!)
That should have earnt me major brownie points... for life!!
Enjoy the car Allan
