The problem you have is this. If the box is so scarce sourcing a 2nd hand shaft will be impossible so its only really worth buying for the transfer box. Would be interested in the transfer case and centre diff drop gears etc if you are interested in splitting the box.

The case is the same as any old TY752 box
If the internals are as smashed as when I broke mine, the only salvagable parts are the center diff and drop gears!
Its not cost effective to fix unless you have a source of spares.

last year had a 4door sti wich i put type r box with dccd third gear would not select and was knackered due to some one ramming it in at an unapropriate time so got number of guy who fixed only subaru boxes on farm in barnsley middle of a valley on side of a hill took box to him and he must of had 100/250 subaru boxes lying around and that was not even in his workshop he rebuilt 3rd and put all back together and sent it back to me on pallet for £150
box was mint and ran 350bhp using neetronics too, so had some hammer (launches) etc and never missed a gear or knotched etc will try and find number and put it up (guy saved my scooby fun for that year)
