Default PPP ECU for Classic

Hi Guys

I am about to fit and have mapped my ECUTEK 3 which means it will replace my PPP ECU which in turn means it will be for sale this week.

I want a fast sale to get back some of the money im spending on the remap so if your interested please PM me with an offer or an acceptence of the asking price.

The PPP ECU is coming off a phase 2 classic so 1998-2000 as i believe although mine is regestered as 2001.

Im not entirely sure but i would get a second opion if i were you.

It is off a UK turbo NOT an STI so version numbers dont matter as i am led to believe. As far as i know the phase 2 engine was 1998-2000 so you may have to check which engine you have as you are bang on the change over year.

First offer at the asking price is in so if any more offers are made they need to be over that price or on it for a first refusal

Phase 2 were the MY99/00 cars, had the 4 pot brakes standard on the front and the coil pack off centre (to the right as you look into the engine bay) on the engine's inlet manifold.
It definately wont fit a terzo as they are a phase 1.5 engine

What power / torque gains can be expected fitting this to a standard MY99, only mod is TSL decat centre and Rear backbox.

Im sure somone will correct me and im sure if you do a search you could find the exact answer in reguards to BHP but i think it boosts a standard 217bhp UK turbo to around 240-250bhp but as i say do some research, one thing is for sure you will feel the difference.

Other than that the ECU changes the fueling, boost, power, torque and driveability amoung other things by taking the power band through the rev range instead of all in one big go therefore making the power more usable. Boost while on my car with this ECU is 1.2 peak and holding at 0.9-1.0.

Yeah mate i sold mine for £200 plus a standard MY99 ECU.When i changed over (because of decat issues) the car was definately a bit slower.
