just a quick one the law that says you require a cat came in in aug 1992 my car is a 1992 but was first registered dec 92 so it requires a cat you said that your car is legal without one ????? very nice car tho stunning
tell me where on the dvlw web site does it say yor car does not require a cat just checking because my car requires bfg army equivelent to a mot for overseas soldiers
either dvla or vosa websyt or a guy on here myblackwrx has the link to whre you can find the info any local mot station should be lcued up though they are down here
Got pulled by Vosa some mths back & 2 cut a long story short
You need a cat as stated on all cars registered after Aug 92
Mine was a 93 and i had grief
tread hijack you dont nesserally need a cat for a 93 reg car because the car could have been made in 92 sat in a field for 6/12 months beforeit was registured in 93 will(should) still pass mot well if you go to a decent mot test station.
if your a mot tester or have a problem with this advise your tester to select F5 on the vosa computer and search emission and it will explain in that section.
Ive tried to explain this to more then 1 MOT station, I even printed out the said flow charts with it on, they still laughed at me so not sure who is right.
