MY98 UK Turbo 324bhp 320lb/ft P1 Box & DCCD
My 1998 UK Turbo is up for sale as I am leaving the country & moving to Spain.
I have owned the car since November 2006,it was almost completely standard when I bought it,since then I have spent loads of time & money improving it, click on View My Scooby for full list of mods & recent photo's.
First registered Nov' 1998
DGM (64c)
112k on the clock,Subaru SH up to 75k & lots of receipts for items & servicing since then,HPI clear with paperwork to prove,Tracker & relevant documents,Cat 1 alarm/Immobiliser.
MOT until Feb 25th 2009
Tax until end of November 2008
Usual stuff like remote Twin Airbags,C/Locking,Air-Con (Recently Re-Gassed),E/Windows,E/Mirrors,E/Headlamp adjust,Headlamp washers....
Interior is in very good condition,no rips or tears in upholstery,only slight wear on Drivers seat bolster.
Paintwork overall is in VGC but there are one or two small scratches & marks & some laquer (about the size of a 50p piece has chipped & lifted a little on the boot lid,also in places the clear coat appears to have crazed slightly its not too bad and almost invisible from a couple of feet away
The only bad points I can think of are that it has a slight oil leak,I think its from the drivers side rocker cover.
The ABS has recently stopped working,I think its a faulty sensor as it was intermittant for a week or two before stopping,other than that the brakes are in great condition & work perfectly.
Last but not least,when cold there is a little "piston knock" it disappears completely when warm & I believe was/is very common on uk cars around 97/98
The P1 Gearbox,rear diff & driveshafts came from a friends car & have only done approx 55k
The DCCD came from an STI V6 that had 45,000 kilometeres on the clock
The car drives very,very well,is fast & lots of fun & has never let me down,if I could keep it I would as I really will miss it
Well that's about it,I have been as open & honest as possible with the description & anyone who know's me will vouch for that.
I am looking for offers in the region of £3500 which I think is a fair price given the mileage & condition of the car - not to mention the thousands of ££££ worth of bits fitted to it
