Wot about the model report? Where do you get that from and how much? New rules require this model report don't they?

This scooby does not need a model report as its to old, its from 1996 or 1997 when they require model reports.
Due to this car being a dec 1995 it will need a sva or you can just wait till dec and then no sva will be needed..bonus is that it will fall on a N or possible p reg car

I have been quoted less than £100 to get all the conversion bits supplied and fitted by SVA (UK) LTD in southampton. Its not the work but the bits that cost money, fitting the bits is very basic

All the dereg docs, customs clearance, receipts are with me and i even have the paperwork which you hand in to the dvla!!
Its a shame as i have been waiting for this car for a while but due to credit cards/wife/morgage i need to be sensable...thanks

I am not trying to pi$$ on your bonfire - but it seems difficult to believe that you can't afford to get this car registered etc before its sold (its going to cos a t most £500) ???? Just smells a little.... odd ! IMHO

Otherwise good luck.

....ok thats a fair question!!

1) £500 to get it on the road

2) £1250 to get me insured

3) they also require me to have a cat 1 alarm and tracker...£300-600

4) running cost per day.......mate it all adds up and you feel the pinch when you are getting a morgage/credit card bills ..hope this answers your question, thanks

One thing that confused me was....the RA model has been stripped down to save on weight...why the hell would they put Air-con in the car...

Up for ya...

How bout posting some pics up...

I think the air con unit is removed from standard but the previous owner wanted it in?? i have checked the model number and vin number and it conferms its a ra model ...also had the gearbox code checked to make sure it was the close ratio and it is......

Up for a late night

aircon, central locking and electric windows were optional on the RA's- although not many opted for them.

having owned several of them, I could live with windey windows, but no central locking was a total PITA. aircon is a good option to have, and tbh the extra weight is negligible and wouldn't be noticeable in real life terms.

It may be the reason why the previous owner has decided to remove the fog lights and spoiler??? He/she decided to keep the air con and remove the other bits
