Can you see the poster on the first message? If so and you want more, then anything in particular?

Simon.

These any good?

top. anyone out there interested? Just put it through MOT. Now has 12 more months of hassle free motoring. Perfect emissions results, but that's not suprising considering the amount spent on dealer servicing.

The engine has done approx. 90K. It was replaced 20 months ago after a No.3 bearing failure. It was replaced by a motorsport specialist who was the mate of the previous owner. There is no official documentation. But I contacted them after I bought the car and they verified what had been done.

Does anyone have experience with high mile scoobs. Are there any age related problems that would worry a buyer? Who has one over 130K? Is it ok?

My impression was that if you looked after the car it would be ok. I change the oil with fully synthetic every 5K miles and have had dealer or specialist servicing since owned.

car looks fine m8, however bearings, clutch can be over used, and can be big cost, hence the concern

i would take it off your hands but not at the prce above due to concern

I am 24 (3 years no claims) £1100 and dont need a tracker with adrian flux. Which in my opinion is not a bad price.

I am in Retford(Notts) tomorrow if you are interested. Where are you? Shame about the exhaust (The prodrive exhaust is now sold, but was a lovely bit of engineering)

As for price it still has to be offers over 4K.

Sounds like you know more than me mate. Not sure about bearings and clutches. I think it had a new clutch with the engine @ 100K so has done about 30K since then.

Car now sold at the asking price within 1 week in the autotrader. with plenty if offers still coming through. I am glad I didnt yield to those offer of £3500 cash. If you are selling right now, just be patient the right buyer will come along.

I got my asking price, but it was definetly worth more than that, owing to the time and money I put into maintaining it at the highest level.

Good luck sellers! Any one got a cheap diesel pug 306!!
