Glasses Guide January 2003 prices:

99 T with 44,000 miles trade £9825

Mileage table in glasses guide puts the value of 75,000 miles as minus £2450 from the above trade price.

Giving you £7375 as the value for the vehicle.

Taking into account that these models are no longer making trade price and any modifications will only lower the value further, £7000 is a reasonable offer.

Talking

Alright calm down, calm down!

every body is entitled to their own opinion on pricing.

The thing is that all the trade books have 10k a year as average mileage and they will heavily penalise you if it is above.... however insurance companies now look on 12k - 15k a year as average!

steve

glad to see someone talks sense on this forum. I sold it for £9100, not far off your guess. The buyer had travelled a fair distance too as he couldn't find the right car near to where he lives.

Unhappy

Lira ?

Hmm..so about 21p then ??

Yeah, that's realistic ! Like the man says - not really the done thing taking the pi55 on a genuine 'for sale' post.. why not e-mail offline if you feel that strongly about it.

JT2000 - Nice car m8... if we were a few months down the line I'd have been interested ! Doh !

Red face

Sexist as well as agressively arrogant, abusive and self opinionated..... That's quite a list.

Do you have any other charms?

Carlos

(that should open up a whole can of abuse!)

JT

Read my post again

I actually said that Parkers was slightly better, you sold the car for 9100, that is about what Parkers said, if you care to read other peoples posts, and actually take note of what is being said, you may not have to be so abrupt with your comments,

A tip for the future should you decide to sell anything else on here, how about putting a price on, so other people dont take the mickey with offers, that you are not prepared to entertain

having said that

congrats on the sale

Parkers and Glasses guide are a bunch of A.RSE! I recently had some woman hit me up the rear, I was in a Nova GSI, it was written off thank god! Parkers and Glasses guide say this car is worth £905.....I got £1900 for it! from the insurance company.

To all those who posted positive comments, Thanks.

sonic(steve), apologies to you, I included your name by mistake when having a go at the idiots who said it was worth 7k.

Thanks JT

Sparky

I know Parkers & Glasses arent exactly acurate, i sometimes look as a rough guide, as wether a car im looking at, is there or thereabouts

To be honest ive only recently bought my scoob from Scoobynet (and a bargain'ish too) and whilst looking at various scoobs, parkers was ironically spot on with its guides, and the real world

JT someone has got a good deal from yourself, my car, well im happy with it, if I had hung on a little longer, i could have got one quite a bit cheaper, but then I did get a Sonic Blue one

guys,

save some money up and go out and buy a sense of humour.

I was only kidding however its amazing how many people rush to put the boot in. also, what with having a life away from my PC..I'm probably not as au fait with all the do's and dont's of this online chat lark.

agressive and sexist..? big statements to make based on a couple of lines on a forum.

Thank You Carlos.

Glass's guide is exactly what is says, ie. a guide. It wouldn't matter if Glass's said a T-plate with 75k was worth £5000, the fact is what they are actually selling for in the real world is all that matters.

If anyone can find a genuine T reg turbo for £7000 I'll buy it myself and sell it for a 2k profit.

dickie c, sonic, Monkee, don't post on peoples for sale threads unless you've got anything positive to say. You obviously know nothing about Imprezas and their values so read and learn before you go spouting.
