It's a shame you're having to sell it Ian, hopefully the westie will be worth it.

I would have thought a P1 would be an ideal towing car for a westie, and you could take it on track if it was p*ssing it down

Problem is it states in the owners manual that this car cannot be towed with - otherwise i'd have considered that.

Anyway - still for sale.

Yep - the Wheels are Prodrive by OZ - available from your friendly Subaru dealer.

I'm pretty sure thats the tyre size I'm running too

Ian,

I am completely confused by the cannot be towed comment.

Have you checked with IM on the reason for this?

Sounds a bit odd to me, as the drivetrain is identical to other imprezas, and they are used for towing wihtout problem.

There are comments in the book about towing weights.

Towbar + p1 = sucks.

along with...

jamesa, - compete - not yet - maybe we will in the future.

Adam - it does say no towing for some reason - yep - the drivetrain is exactly STI V so you should be about to - weird.

Besides - I'm going the sensible family car route - 330d Sport Touring with gizmos a plenty - 190bhp 281lb/ft and 45ish to the gallon. 400 quid gets you 230 and 396 lb/ft

Westi for fun - bmer (and slippers) for comfort.

Problem is I'm out of work at the moment (and haven't worked for 6 weeks ) - so if times get hard I'll need the cash to live on and get the bm at a later date.

Such is life.

They can't 'be' towed, but there's no reason why you can't tow
